Life with a vegetarian

"I am vegetarian." He messaged. " I love pork." I replied. Apocalypse🤣 And we fell in love. 🍀🐢♥️♥️ I didn't believe him. Come on, my points were very clear (LOL). 1)You are from Assam.( North East) 2)You are Manipuri. I couldn't imagine the life of a vegetarian. I was not a fan of fish but was in a romantic relationship with pork. Chicken and duckmeat were on the list too. Our ethnic foods are still my favourites. So, when this Mumbai based Manipuri handsome boy told me about his love for veggies, I was like " chal hatt, side la" 🤣🤣 I am a food lover and I have mentioned earlier that I always need a partner to enjoy food. So, as I made my mind to fly with him, I decided to stop eating meat(Without a partner, pork is boring).😁 All these four years of togetherness, I have seen love and only love towards the surrounding in his eyes. He can feel subtle emotions in each and everything. We, the non vegetarians, often feel like "I can't live without meat" but once you understand the beauty of being vegetarian, you won't be able to stop falling in love with them. I must say vegetarians are much more humble and positive. Calmness becomes their second nature. I have seen the way he appreciates whatever he is cooking or eating. I was so much gobbled up by meat that I used to ignore the veggies. It was my addiction. We are now on a plant based diet. Being with him has helped me to open my eyes and see that options are more in vegetarian diet(because with pork, we need no other sabjis😂😂) I am still eating fish (once in a while) but the feeling is very different now.
